Sailing & regattas
Pindá is part of Ilhabela’s ocean sailing history and the birthplace of the C30 Class.
Brazil’s Sailing Capital
The sea is part of our history.
Through its members, Pindá takes part in Ilhabela Sailing Week, Latin America’s leading ocean sailing event.
The wind and current patterns in the São Sebastião Channel create one of Brazil’s finest sailing venues, bringing together crews and boats throughout the year.
C30 Class
Born at Pindá.
The C30 Class was founded at our clubhouse. Guilherme Cara’s design, combined with the technical expertise of naval engineer Horácio Carabelli, gave rise to a modern, light and competitive boat.
Laminated in São José dos Campos’ aerospace hub, the C30 was designed for speed and teamwork, with a crew formed by helmsman, tactician, trimmers, bowman and pit.
